Getting annoyed with the build-up in your essential oil diffuser? Clean if with just a few simple steps!
Cleaning things like essential oil diffusers often get pushed to the end of the list when it comes to cleaning because it seems so time consuming and tedious. But in reality it only takes a few short minutes to clean out. Which is more than worth it because it is diffusing into the air in your home so cleaning it is actually very important. Follow this simple tutorial on to do so.
What you need:
• White vinegar
• Measuring cup
• Tablespoon
• Q-tip
• Cloth (I use microfiber, I feel like it works the best)
• Water
What to do:
Fill diffuser 1/2 full of water and add 1 Tlbs of vinegar.
Diffuse for 10 minutes.
Remove top and use rag to remove residue. I found it helpful to clean with using a q-tip for the small spaces inside both the diffuser and the lid. If you are having trouble with it you may have to diffuse for a little while longer to loosen things up a little more.
Once you have wiped it out rince it out with some water to get the flakes out.
