Looking for a way to reset your week, and feel confident and on top of your week to come? Try this minimalist self care weekly reset.
Do you ever feel like you aspire to do all of these skin, hair, and maybe nails glamour, or maybe just simple maintenance but just don’t seem to have the time? Here is what I do to stay on top of self care. I do a minimalist self care weekly reset.
What is Minimalist Self Care?
Minimalist self care is simply taking care of one’s well-being and elevating mental and physical strain and stress.
Why Practice Minimalist Self Care?
Minimalist self care is a great way to prevent and heal one’s mental and physical strain on the mind and the body.
What does a Minimalist Skin Care Routine Look Like?

First, I do my minimalist skincare routine with Lemongrass Spa and L’bri Products. I like to use:
Now Let’s Get to It! What is the Minimalist Self Care Weekly Reset Line-Up?
Let’s start with the hair.

The hair for me always seems to take the longest, so I like to brush out my hair and start this off while I do other things. I like to use LemonGrass Spa’s Apple Silk Hair Mask
Now we roll into skincare. This is just my normal daily routine, but the line-up is:
- Wash face with water
- Prebiotic Facial Wash
- Prebiotic Facial Mist
- Collagen Eye Cream
Next up, I wax or tweeze my eyebrows.
I am cheap and do my own at home I am very picky on the way they look and more stingy paying to get them done. I use a tweezer and these wax strips I think they both do the job very well, I also use them for unibrow and stash areas as well.
Now I will alternate every other week these two mask skincare products.
I will use either a L’bri Rejuvenating Facial Peel which is oh so amazing! You literally lightly dab it on to apply and within a few seconds you wash it off along follows dead skin you wouldn’t even think possible to come off of your face. Next week I will go ahead and use the L’bri Facial Masque, known for its famous nickname “facelift in a bottle” Need I go on…I think not.
Don’t forget those teeth!
I think we can all agree our teeth can always use a whitening up every once in a while. I use these bamboo toothbrushes. While charcoal is great for removing surface stains, and absorbing bad breath. To use this every day is too harsh on your teeth, it can wear the layer of enamel off of your teeth. Using it once a week is a great way to give your teeth a nice clean look without making any damage.

Bath time!
Put on some relaxing music or podcasts. Light a candle (preferably a beeswax or soy candle, or one that isn’t going to release toxins into the air). Then fill up the tub with some water and magnesium epsom salts. Magnesium relaxes the muscles in your body and makes for a relaxing bath.
If you are not a bath person and would rather take a nice hot shower, put on a relaxing podcast or music. Try using my favorite Lemongrass Spa Honey Glow Body Polish to exfoliate while you are in the shower.

Let’s talk about those nails!
Whether you are a nail polish person or not, take care of those nails. This doesn’t have to be a long winded routine, but it’s a good habit to take care of those beauties. Trim them up, maybe use some cuticle oil. Don’t have cuticle oil? Use some olive oil on your cuticles to soften and replenish them.
If you are into nails paint them. I won’t go a day without my toenails polished. I don’t like feeling like my feet look like they belong on a male body. Here is a clean option nail polish. Are you notorious for smudging your nails? Try using the best and easiest nail polish strips for efficient application and long-lasting nails.

Styling
Now that you have covered all the relaxing cleaning and polishing up your body. I won’t wash my hair for a few days I will sometimes curl or straighten my hair.
Conclusion
I hope you enjoyed this guide and steps into creating a meaningful weekly reset and will adapt. As we are all too busy in our day-to-day-life to do this every day. It is so great to do this reset once a week.
