Wanting to find an easy way to simplify, build a simple, clean home? Without getting overwhelmed but don’t know where to start. Here are some easy ways to simplify your home on a budget.
Replace one item at a time.
For years I would get on phases where I only wanted clean Items in my home and I would start throwing stuff away and buy new product replacements. Yeah, that got old very fast when the credit card statement came in and I would give up. This year I decided I wanted to start growing a clean low toxin home but we did not have any extra money to spend. So I decided to do some research on better replacements for whatever item I was needing. For an example, I was running out of deodorant so I started researching better deodorants and decided next time I was going to buy deodorant I was going to buy a cleaner version. This has helped lower the cost of converting so much.
Homemake
Now you may be thinking “I don’t have time to homemake things” now I don’t mean go buy some bamboo fabric and sew some bamboo towels. Yeah, that wouldn’t have the time, patience, or money either. I mean simply use the items in your home for multiple things.

Use What You Already Have
This one is similar to the one above but do it. Look around for the items you have right in your home. I’ve hardly been buying specific cleaners for things I just use what I have. For an example I ran out of toilet bowl cleaner and I wasn’t going to go shopping for toilet bowl cleaner. So I took some baking soda and dropped some into the toilet bowl and added some of my citrus all purpose cleaner in and everything scrubbed clean and easily and smelt good afterward and I didn’t spend an extra dime!
Buy Ingredients, Not Pre-Made Items
For about two months now I have been on a complete from scratch pantry. Although I thought this would mean more time in the kitchen and more of a hassle, it has actually made my life more simple. It also has been saving so much on groceries. I go to the store and buy my certain staples and I can walk out and know I have everything I need just from the simple list I walked in with.

I hope this helps you in simplifying your home journey in hopes for reducing stress and unhealthy items in your home as well as saving you from unnecessary spending.
