Why Organic Snacks for your toddler?

It is important to be feeding your young child with proper nutrition. Aldi Organic Foods Snack List
Organic Fresh Fruit from aldi
Aldi has a great affordable organic produce section. Fresh fruit is a great prep-ahead, easy, healthy snack for both you and your kids.

SIMPLY NATURE ALDI Organic Corn Tortilla Chips
Chips and salsa anyone? This is a big hit in our household. We don’t have chips a lot because toddlers and chips just scare me for choking reasons. These are a great alternative to regular corn chips and are not fried in canola oil.

Simply Nature Fruit Snacks
Fruit snacks…*sigh* I truly do not like fruit snacks, never really did even as a kid, they always tasted fake. However, I found that the Simply Nature Organic Fruit Snacks have decent ingredients. They have organic cane sugar and not high fructose corn syrup, they also don’t have synthetic dyes in them which is a big plus for me! We don’t buy these all of the time, but it is a good treat for the kids once in a while or for a special day out or road trip.

Dried Fruit
Some day I will have a dehydrator or freeze dryer. However, that’s not in the books right now. Aldi has a great selection of freeze-dried and dehydrated fruits that make your taste buds happy and are a great snack option. They even have freeze-dried strawberries in small single on-the-go packets making it even easier for you! Go try them next time you go!
Granola Bars
Granola bars are definitely a must-have for me! I do make my own granola/granola bars but having some pre-packaged to throw in the car or diaper bag is so nice. Not to mention it is a quick, running-out-the-door breakfast.
Medium Bananas
Bananas are such an easy at-home or on-the-go snack! Especially for little toddlers. And if you don’t eat them in time and they turn brown? Throw them in the freezer for smoothies, or some yummy banana bread or muffins.
Deli Meat
Deli meat and cream cheese wrap? If you have not tried them, you have to! Maybe even add a pickle in there for a yummy ham and pickle wrap. Salami in the air fryer is such a yummy and protein-filled snack for your kids! It’s almost like a chip at that point. Dipped in some ranch or marinara, yum!
Simply Nature White Cheddar Cheese Puff Balls
This is a great gluten-free, no-sugar-added tasty snack to add to your grocery list! It is a great way to have a dye-free option instead of most cheese balls with artificial dyes.
Organic Cheese Sticks
Cheese sticks are a simple, non-mess snack, or a little extra healthy fat and protein to add to any meal of the day! Cutting these up into chunks, heated up makes your taste buds very happy.
Applesauce
I think we can all agree from ages 6 months+ applesauce is our lifesaver. Whoever invented those little squeeze-packets should win an award!
Rice Rusks
These are great for older babies/younger toddlers. I especially love these in the car for my one-year-old because I know they just dissolve and I don’t have to worry too much about choking.

Simply Nature Fruit Strips
These are just so good! They are definitely on the favorite snack list and almost always on my grocery shopping list. I love these to bring to a friend’s house, at the park, or sitting at home on the couch.
Yogurt Bites
These are small, tasty, fruity snacks designed for babies, but loved my toddlers, even my 3-year-old still asks for them!
Simply Nature Apple Juice
Sometimes I want to treat my kids to a special drink that isn’t filled with artificial dyes, flavors, and unnecessary amounts if sugar. This is my favorite “real tasting” store-bought apple juice I found.
Seasonal organic snacks to buy in the Aldi Finds Isle
Can I even mention the Aldi Isle of Shame? If you know, you know 😉 I found these delicious spiced apple fruit strips and let me tell you, these are the best! I could probably sit down and eat a whole box. I really think it’s a special addition to the snack bag for a good change-up for the season.
